The Thursday Murder Club
In Richard Osman's The Thursday Murder Club, four residents of a luxury retirement village, Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim, and Ron, meet to investigate cold cases but become entangled in a real murder when a former colleague, Tony Curran, is killed at their retirement home, Coopers Chase. As the group delves into the murder, they uncover a deeper conspiracy involving a property development scheme and the tangled pasts of the victim and those around them, leading to further deaths and the revelation of old secrets as they use their former careers to solve the case.
