Cornwall’s finest culinary talent is gathering in St Mawes for an unforgettable evening at The Idle Rocks.

We’re thrilled to launch our Guest Chef Nights in the waterside Reef Knot Restaurant on Saturday 28th March, where our own Guy Owen will welcome three of the county’s most celebrated chefs for a vibrant celebration of Cornish coastal cuisine.

The line-up:

Ben Palmer: The creative force behind Looe favourites The Sardine Factory and Yamas, and winner of the 2024 Great British Menu. Ben will be serving his acclaimed winning starter, Firefly.

Jude Kereama: The visionary behind Kota and Kota Kai in Porthleven, Jude brings his signature blend of Cornish ingredients and bold, expressive flavours.

Chris Eden: Raised in St Austell and the first Cornishman to earn a Michelin star in Cornwall, Chris brings exceptional craft and refined, flavour-led cooking to this special evening.

The four‑course menu will showcase the very best of Cornwall’s larder — from field to ocean — with each dish crafted to honour the ingredients and the chefs behind them. Paired with a selection of exceptional wines from Liberty Wines, this promises to be an evening of flavour, craft, and coastal creativity that simply shouldn’t be missed
